Greetings Prayer Warrior Friends!

Welcome to 2010!

Would you believe it, we’re ten years past the end of the world and still going.

Prayer Requests:

• A slight exaggeration!

  Our vehicle is in the shop! The gear shifter broke. The odometer broke. The speedometer broke. After giving them $275.00 tomorrow I (Jon) will drive away, but without fixing the odometer or the speedometer. (Too much money for this stop.) That’ll be at least another $160.00. Pray for God’s provision. I think it’s time to be praying for a new vehicle as well! I’m sure you all can relate.

• We’re working out our schedule for the year with some of our friends in India. It looks like we’ll be heading back to Jaipur as well as some new locations in the Spring – probably a longer stay this time. Pray for the details (and the finances).
• We had to leave our old (but effective) color laser printer in Oregon. That thing saved us a lot of money on our newsletters! The two printers I have here in Illinois are broken. For around $400.00 I can buy a new color laser printer and get out a much-needed snail mail newsletter. (Those who only hear from us by U.S. post haven’t even heard that we’re back from India!) Pray in that money friends!

Praise Reports:

• A Strong Team

  We’re very slowly but very surely moving forward in rebuilding our financial support team. We are welcoming a new team member today! This one is a prayer request as well. The more solid our funding the more effective we can be as we travel to and from India (and beyond), and engage in our upcoming local ministries. We are excited to have some new people on board though. (P.S. Would you like to hear more about our ministry in person or via internet? I’d love to visit with you! Contact Me!)

Announcements:

• We’re starting to run our Truth Project group! Most likely our starting date is February 1st in the evening. 13 weeks to change the way you see the world, and then to change the world into what God sees! Are you interested? Contact Me!
• We’re believing God to file for non-profit status this year! (The earlier in the year the better.) Right now our church is graciously sponsoring the financial side of our ministry by receiving donations and issuing tax-receipts, but God has been speaking for quite a while about filing a new organization. This one is also a prayer request!

Exploits in the Kingdom!

With God on our side we can do great exploits for the Kingdom. We’re delighted to have you on our team as well. Thanks for making a Worldwide Awakening an impending reality.
