Digum Finds God
A Testimony from Digum – one of our students from Northeast India:

I am a Christian by birth, but I have many doubt in my mind about God whether He is there or not, until I came … to DTS.
This whole week [Character and Nature of God Week] has been very fun in learning about God. I leaned many new things about God’s Character and Nature which I never know.
Jon’s teaching not only helped me to learn about God, but it teaches me to how we should worship and seek God in every ways in our life.
Digum and his team have just returned from their evangelism outreach and they are currently back in Jaipur for their “debriefing.”
Thanks for helping us train and send Digum! Pray for him as he decides on the next steps of his missionary journey.
Worldview Transformation Discussion Night
So you are with a team on the Amazon river trying to help a certain people group deal with a recent flood. It is a poor and neglected people group – the other Brazilians mistreat them. The local “village elders” are skeptical of your desire to help because they blame the suffering on the fact that some have turned to this “new” God – Jesus – as a result of a missionary from southern Brazil. What strategies do you and your team use to reach and help this group of people?
We opened our evening with a discussion about this scenario and then moved into a teaching time where I (Jon) shared about the several key themes of the whole Bible and why Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy make up the foundational basis of God’s Worldview teaching.
And the snacks were good.
Don’t you wish you were there?
If you live in the Northern Illinois area we are holding our next “Worldview Transformation Night” on Monday Evening of the 28th of November. If you are not already “in the loop” and you wish to be a part please reply to this email and let me know!
Thank you for believing in what God can do through Worldwide Awakening!
Send Us!
Year End Donations: I know that some like to end the year with a special donation to the ministries that are on their heart. Would you make a donation to get us back to India in January to train another class of World Changers? We have only just launched our – January 2012 fundraiser so we haven’t raised any of our goal as of yet. Be the first one right now! :-)
We actually urgently need several hundred dollars to renew Jon’s passport and have his ten year visa moved to the new passport. All before we go!
We are also believing God for some money in the “general fund” for things like finishing our IRS filing (a $900 cost).
In some years the donations that come in about right now are the one’s that keep us going. Thanks for your consideration!
In Jesus,
Jon (and Julianna)
